Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to join our pharmacy team, applying didactic learning to real-world practice under a licensed preceptor. The program includes a 120‑day comprehensive training roadmap covering store, district, and regional operations, patient safety, and quality assurance.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescription fulfillment is safe, accurate, and timely.
• Counsel patients and respond to medical questions under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Support immunizations and vaccination services where allowed by state law and training.
• Maintain SOP compliance and contribute to patient safety and quality assurance programs.
