Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under the guidance of a preceptor and district leader, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap to deepen understanding of store, district, and regional operations, patient safety, and drug utilization review.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist the pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all patient interactions.
• Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Perform required operational tasks with attention to safety and accuracy.
