Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your didactic learning in real-world practice within CVS stores. Under supervision, you will complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days of graduation, deepen patient safety knowledge, and support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and caring service.

You will learn SOPs, demonstrate empathy, and grow toward a Pharmacist role while collaborating with district leaders and physicians.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program before starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled promptly, safely, and accurately.
• Provide counseling and empathetic service to patients and caregivers.
• Support inventory activities and cycle counts as directed by leadership.
