Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams within our Retail locations. You will apply didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under the supervision of a preceptor and District Leader, completing a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days after graduation.

You will assist with patient care, safety, and SOP compliance while expanding your clinical and technical knowledge in a collaborative, inclusive setting.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related work experience in pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists and technicians with routine workflow to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment
• Support patient interactions with empathy and care, including immunizations and counseling as needed
• Follow SOPs and maintain high standards of patient safety and privacy
• Participate in training roadmap to prepare for future Pharmacist responsibilities
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to support pharmacy operations
