Job summary

CVS Health in the United States offers a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a pharmacist preceptor. The 120-day training roadmap covers store, district, and regional operations to prepare you for increasing responsibility.

You will assist the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment, uphold patient safety, and deliver caring service that exceeds expectations while learning SOPs and professional standards.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe
• Attention and Focus: concentration on a task and accuracy
• Customer Service and Team Orientation: assist patients and work with colleagues
• Communication Skills: verbal and written communication with patients and colleagues
• Mathematical Reasoning: calculate days supply, doses, and related quantities
• Problem Resolution: identify and address challenging patient or colleague interactions
• Physical Demands: ability to lift and move items as required by the job
• Any additional tasks as directed by Supervisor or Manager
