Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program within our Retail pharmacy network. You will apply didactic learning to real-world practice, follow SOPs, and work under a licensed pharmacist and district leader to build knowledge in patient safety, DUR, and pharmacy standards.

You will progressively take on more responsibility, assist with immunizations, counseling, and drug utilization, and support operations to ensure safe, accurate dispensing while delivering caring service.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited U.S. program required before starting the Post‑Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required Pharmacist licensure within state guidelines within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Support pharmacy operations to ensure accurate, safe prescription fulfillment and patient care.
• Counsel and assist patients under supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Assist with immunizations, testing, and off-site clinics as trained.
• Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to pharmacy team members.
