Job summary

CVS Health is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to train you for a pharmacist role while you apply your didactic learning in real-world practice. Under your preceptor and District Leader, you’ll complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days, supporting pharmacy operations, patient safety, and quality standards in a retail setting.

You will learn to provide empathetic care, perform duties under supervision, and progressively take on responsibilities for patient

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the internship.
• Ability to obtain pharmacist licensure within state timelines.
• Possess or be pursuing intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Support the pharmacy team to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment.
• Learn and perform SOPs under supervision and guidance.
• Assist with immunizations and patient counseling when allowed by state regulations.
• Participate in the 120-day training roadmap and consolidate clinical knowledge.
• Travel to stores in the market as needed to support operations.
