Job summary

CVS Health in multiple California locations is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning in real-world practice and prepare for a Pharmacist role. Under supervision, you will complete a 120‑day training roadmap across store, district, and regional operations, while emphasizing patient safety and quality assurance.

You will learn SOPs, proactive communication, and caring service as part of the pharmacy team, with opportunities to counsel patients and support immunizations

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately, and promptly.
• Demonstrate empathy and genuine care in all customer and colleague interactions.
• Travel to stores in the market to cover shifts as needed by the business
