Job summary

CVS Health in California is offering a Graduate Pharmacy Intern program designed to apply didactic learning to real-world practice. Under a preceptor, you'll complete a 120-day training roadmap to deepen your understanding of store operations, patient safety, and regulatory standards.

During shifts you’ll assist the pharmacy team to fill prescriptions accurately, provide caring service, and learn through SOPs, coaching, and hands-on experiences that prepare you for a Pharmacist role.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, valid intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacy team to fill prescriptions safely and accurately.
• Support immunizations and related pharmacy services where allowed by law.
• Follow SOPs and participate in training to improve patient care and safety.
• Provide empathetic customer service and contribute to a positive patient experience.
