Job summary

CVS Health in California seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply didactic learning to real-world practice under a preceptor. You will progress through a 120-day training roadmap, supporting pharmacists and technicians to ensure safe, accurate prescription fulfillment and compassionate patient service.

You will learn SOPs, patient safety practices, and how to contribute to an inclusive, high-performing pharmacy team while gaining experience for future pharmacist responsibilities.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to starting the Post-Graduate Training Program at CVS Health.
• Must be able to obtain pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe per state guidelines.
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Assist pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are filled safely, accurately and promptly.
• Learn and apply SOPs, best practices, and effective communication within the pharmacy team.
• Support immunizations, point-of-care testing, and offsite clinics as allowed by law and training.
