Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to support pharmacy teams in CVS stores within California. You will apply classroom learning to real-world practice under a preceptor and district leader, completing a 120‑day training roadmap and gaining exposure to patient safety, drug utilization, and SOPs.

You will learn to counsel patients, assist with immunizations where allowed by state law, and contribute to a safe, efficient dispensing process while delivering compassionate care that meets

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program at CVS Health
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe, per state guidelines. Failure to obtain licensure within 120 days of graduation will result in separation of employment
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining valid intern and/or technician licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including weekends
• Completion of required training within designated timeframe
• Maintain patient safety and accuracy in prescription dispensing
• Support pharmacovigilance, immunizations and clinic services where permitted by state regulation
• Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to ensure smooth pharmacy operations
• Demonstrate empathy and provide caring service to patients and colleagues
