Job summary

CVS Health in California is seeking a Graduate Pharmacy Intern to apply your didactic learning from pharmacy school to real-world practice under a licensed pharmacist preceptor. You will follow a 120‑day training roadmap to deepen knowledge of store operations, patient safety, DUR, and SOPs, while delivering safe, accurate prescriptions and caring service.

You will assist with immunizations, counseling, and doctor communication under supervision, with opportunities to grow toward a Pharmacist

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate from a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post‑Graduate Training Program.
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within 120 days of graduation.
• Must possess, or be in the process of obtaining, intern and/or technician licensure as required.

Responsibilities

• Regular and predictable attendance, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to complete required training within designated timeframe.
• Provide patient service with accuracy and safety following SOPs.
• Counsel patients and answer questions with empathy under supervision.
• Assist with inventory and cycle counts as directed.
