Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Graduate Pharmacy Intern in California to apply classroom learning in real-world pharmacy practice. Under a preceptor, you will complete a 120-day training roadmap that deepens your understanding of store operations, patient safety, and DUR processes while supporting the pharmacy team.

You will learn to provide compassionate service, ensure accurate dispensing, and collaborate with colleagues to meet patient needs in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• PharmD graduate of a U.S. accredited program prior to beginning the Post-Graduate Training Program
• Ability to obtain required pharmacist licensure within the required timeframe
• Must possess or be in the process of obtaining licensure as required

Responsibilities

• Attend to pharmacy operations with accuracy and safety
• Complete a comprehensive training roadmap within 120 days
• Assist with patient counseling and immunization when permitted
• Uphold SOPs and professional standards in daily work
• Support store operations and patient service during shifts
