Job summary

SSM Health DePaul Hospital - St. Louis is seeking a Regular, employee nurse resident who is a pre-licensure graduate and participates in the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program.

Under the direction of an RN, you will provide age-appropriate patient care for a wide range of conditions and support the care plan as you transition to licensure. This role spans multiple state requirements (Illinois, Missouri, Oklahoma) as applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• For Illinois: an official passing score on NCLEX results.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient assessments across biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual and age-specific needs.
• Develops a realistic patient/family education plan and provides health education and coaching.
• Completes accurate and timely documentation and processes physician orders per policies.
• Collaborates with physicians and other health care professionals regarding patient care.
