SSM Health St. Mary’s Hospital - Centralia in Illinois is seeking a Pre-licensure nurse resident to participate in the New Graduate Nurse Residency Program.

Under the direction of an RN, you will provide patient care within your role and professional standards, handling a wide range of medical conditions. The program supports entry-level nurses as they gain competency, with clear guidelines on duties in Oklahoma, Wisconsin, Illinois and Missouri.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
• For Illinois: an official passing score on NCLEX results.

Responsibilities

• Performs delegated tasks under RN supervision.
• Performs patient assessments including biophysical, psychosocial, spiritual, cultural and age-appropriate needs.
• Develops and delivers patient and family education.
• Completes documentation per policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with physicians and health care professionals.
