Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a detail‑oriented GME Program Coordinator to support day‑to‑day operations across multiple GME programs. You will coordinate recruitment, credentialing, visa needs, and conferencing while ensuring compliance with ACGME requirements.

You will assist in planning orientations and graduations, maintain program documents, and leverage New Innovations for evaluations and scheduling. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with organizing and coordinating educational programs.
• Ability to follow templates, guidelines, and forms for structured correspondence.
• Familiarity with accreditation requirements and documentation processes.

Responsibilities

• Supports the development and coordination of all aspects of the GME program(s).
• Assists program leadership with recruitment, interviews, and onboarding processes.
• Coordinates visa, licensure, and credentialing activities for residents/fellows.
• Ensures board eligibility and licensing eligibility for all trainees.
• Coordinates conferences, didactic sessions, wellness activities, and other program events.
• Assists with accreditation activities including program reviews and site visits.
• Plans orientation, graduation, retreats, and other programmatic meetings.
• Maintains program letters of agreement and training agreements.
• Utilizes New Innovations for evaluations, schedules, and duty hour monitoring.
• Prepares and disseminates program policies and maintains files per retention schedules.
• Prepares documentation for ACGME and other accrediting bodies’ annual requirements.
• Verifies training documentation for trainees.
• Maintains working relationship with OGME.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
