Job summary

UT Health San Antonio is seeking a detail‑oriented GME Program Coordinator to support day‑to‑day operations of one or more complex residency/fellowship programs. You will coordinate activities, maintain records, assist with the application process, and help ensure continued accreditation.

You will work with residents, fellows, faculty and program leadership, handling documentation, onboarding, conferences, and duty hours monitoring while maintaining confidentiality and leveraging institutional

Responsibilities

• Supports the development and coordination of all aspects of the GME program(s).
• Assists program leadership with recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Assists with visa requirements, licensure and credentialing for residents/fellows.
• Ensures board eligibility and licensing eligibility for trainees.
• Coordinates conferences, didactic sessions, wellness activities, and events.
• Coordinates accreditation activities including program reviews and site visits.
• Plans orientation, graduation, retirements, and other meetings.
• Maintains program letters of agreement and training documents.
• Assists in using New Innovations for evaluations, schedules, and duty hours monitoring.
• Prepares documentation for accrediting bodies’ annual requirements.
• Participates in GME professional development activities.
• Verifies training documentation for trainees.
