Halff is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer II to join our Public Infrastructure team in San Antonio, TX. You will work under the mentorship of Professional Engineers, contributing to public infrastructure and land development projects across roadway, drainage, water, and parks programs.

The role targets candidates with 1–3 years of relevant experience, strong design skills, and a drive for growth, with opportunities for ownership in the firm as you develop professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in civil engineering (ABET-accredited).
• FE exam passed and PE exam prep.
• Texas EIT license or ability to obtain within 1 year of employment.
• 1–3 years in public infrastructure design.
• Strong design and project management skills.
• Proficient with Civil 3D and CAD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Extremely detail-oriented and accurate.

Responsabilités

• Assist with planning, design, and preparation of construction documents for public infrastructure and land development projects.
• Design civil engineering projects under supervision of a Professional Engineer (PE).
• Lead other production staff at Intern/Graduate Engineer I level.
• Prepare plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and technical documentation.
• Perform engineering calculations related to grading, drainage, utilities, alignments, water flow.
• Utilize Civil 3D and other software to develop models and drawings.
• Analyze survey data, aerial imagery, maps, and topographic information.
• Coordinate with project managers, surveyors, architects, contractors, and regulators.
