Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Graduate Engineer to join our Infrastructure Design team in Fort Worth. You will learn company practices, work with a licensed Civil Engineer, and support design, calculations, and plan production on public infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes learning AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, MicroStation, Open Roads, and HEC RAS, while developing professionalism toward licensure and project management within budget and schedule constraints.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or environmental engineering or equivalent, with ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Engineer-in-Training certification or ability to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Willingness to learn and support public infrastructure design tasks.

Aufgaben

• Assist project team in design of public infrastructure work.
• Provide technical, day-to-day design support to the Project Engineer, including drafting support for plan production activities.
• Prepare engineering reports, feasibility studies, and utility evaluations.
• Prepare drawings and visual aids.
• Prepare exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, MicroStation, Open Roads, HEC RAS, or other related engineering software.
• Follow internal QA/QC procedures, engineering standards, and best practices.
• Observe construction activities and learn construction methods and translate drawings into the constructed product.
• Coordinate with agency staff and internal support teams on designs, analysis, and issues.
• Utilize Microsoft Office to develop calculations in Excel, reports and letters in Word, and presentations in PowerPoint.
• Other duties as assigned.
