Job summary

Halff in Jacksonville, FL is seeking new graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Land Development team. This entry-level role offers hands-on design experience under a Professional Engineer, with strong potential for growth and ownership in the firm.

Responsibilities include assisting in planning and design, performing calculations, preparing permit documents, coordinating with surveyors and contractors, and attending client and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain EIT certification within one year of start date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of Land Development projects under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Perform schematic design, calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in preparation of permit applications and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with team members, surveyors and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
