Job summary

Halff is seeking new graduates for a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Dallas, TX office, focusing on Land Development. A general civil engineering role with growth and potential ownership within the firm.

Responsibilities include assisting in planning, design, permit prep, and coordinating with surveyors and clients, with supervision by a Professional Engineer. Strong ABET-accredited education and EIT potential within a year are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering (ABET accredited).
• Ability to obtain EIT certificate within 1 year of start date.
• Technical experience with CADD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and design of Land Development projects under supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Perform schematic design work, calculations and analyses for design projects.
• Assist in preparation of permit applications and regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with team members, surveyors and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
