Halff in Jacksonville, FL is seeking new graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Land Development team. This entry-level role offers hands-on design experience under a Professional Engineer, with strong potential for growth and ownership in the firm.

Responsibilities include assisting in planning and design, performing calculations, preparing permit documents, coordinating with surveyors and contractors, and attending client and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or ABET-equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain EIT certification within one year of start date.

Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development

Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Graduate Civil Engineer in our Jacksonville, FL office for our Land Development team. The position will be for a General Civil Engineer interested in Land Development design. Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and design of Land Development projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Perform schematic design work, calculations and analysis for design projects
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors and contractors
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies

Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable Driving Record
• The ability to obtain an EIT Certificate within one (1) year of start date

Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development Preferred Requirements

• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D
• 0 to 3 years of experience in Land Development projects (New graduates are encouraged to apply)
• Knowledge of local codes and design criteria
