Job summary

Halff in Frisco, TX is seeking new graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Civil Engineer in our Land Development group. You will assist in the design and planning of land and site development projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.

This entry-level role offers exposure to plans, specifications, and cost estimates, CAD drafting, and calculations, with coordination among surveyors, architects, and contractors, plus client and regulatory meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Passed the FE exam
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Land Development projects
• Perform drafting CAD work
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies
