Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer for our Land Development / Public Works group in Jacksonville, FL. The ideal candidate has 6+ years of design experience in residential and commercial development, with project and client management skills.

You will perform site development engineering, coordinate with jurisdictions and contractors, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor junior staff as part of a collaborative team of engineers and designers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent.
• 6+ years of relevant engineering design experience.
• P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Lead land development site designs and prepare bid packages.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules.
• Collaborate with jurisdictions, contractors, and internal teams.
• Build plan sets and construction documents and supervise staff.
