Job summary

Halff is seeking New Graduates who will graduate in December 2026 or May 2027 for a Civil Engineer in our Land Development group, in Richardson, TX. This position will assist in the design and planning of land and site development projects, working as part of a design team under the direct supervision of a PE.

The role offers hands-on design experience, exposure to AutoCAD Civil3D, and collaboration with surveyors, architects, and contractors as part of Halff's Land Development practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Passed the FE exam.
• Texas EIT license or ability to obtain within 2 years of employment.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil3D.

Responsibilities

• Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer.
• Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for Land Development projects.
• Perform drafting CAD work.
• Perform calculations and analysis for design projects.
• Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents.
• Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors.
• Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies.
