Job summary

LJA is seeking a Graduate Engineer in Land Development to contribute to feasibility studies, cost estimates, and construction plans using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and related tools. You will work on diverse public and private projects alongside experienced leaders in an employee-owned environment.

Collaborate with technical teams to perform design calculations, investigate site conditions, and support production of bid packages, exhibits, and models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET accredited university (Civil Engineering Preferred).
• Passed the FE Exam.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical experts, peers, and support roles to perform design calculations, prepare equipment or material specifications, and generate technical drawings and exhibits.
• Expanding your engineering toolbox and vocabulary to add knowledge of advanced techniques, applied theory, industry concepts, and best practices.
• Assignments require the investigation of a limited number of variables; supervisory assistance is provided on unusual problems and possible solutions.
• Check-ins with your manager and other engineering mentors to identify areas of excellence and growth opportunities.
• Providing information or exhibits to inform client and internal leaders in decision making related to execution or implementation of project objectives.
