Job summary
LJA Land Development is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support design, production, and project administration for a broad range of clients.
You will use AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office to prepare feasibility studies, cost opinions, construction plans, and bid packages, while growing through hands-on experience in a collaborative, employee-owned culture.
The role emphasizes problem solving, teamwork, and growth, with formal learning opportunities and exposure to diverse projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from ABET-accredited university (Civil Engineering preferred).
- FE Exam passed or taken.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Experience with Bluebeam and Water Resources software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical experts to perform design calculations and generate drawings and exhibits.
- Expand engineering toolbox with advanced techniques and industry concepts.
- Investigate site conditions and constraints to inform design iterations.
- Support project administration and client communications.
