LJA is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support land development projects using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and MS Office. You will assist with feasibilities, cost opinions, studies, exhibits, construction plans, takeoffs, bid packages, and development support tasks for public and private clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET accredited university (Civil Engineering preferred).
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Bluebeam is desirable.
• FE Exam completed or passed is preferred.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical experts, peers, and support roles to perform design calculations, prepare equipment or material specifications, and generate technical drawings and exhibits.
• Expand engineering toolbox and vocabulary to add knowledge of advanced techniques, theory, industry concepts, and best practices.
• Investigate existing site conditions, jurisdictional criteria, and constraints to inform design iterations and direction.
• Work in an office with meeting rooms, amenities, and modern technology.
• Provide information or exhibits to inform client and internal leaders in decision making.
