Job summary

GHD in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Engineering Design Organization, collaborating with senior engineers on water, sewer, road, and environmental projects. You will help with designs, calculations, and modeling to prepare specs and drawings for construction.

You should have a Bachelor's or Master’s in Civil Engineering, 0-2 years experience, and knowledge of AutoCAD; familiarity with REVIT/PCSWMM is a plus. We offer hybrid work with three days in-office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 0-2 years Civil Engineering experience; internship preferred.
• Involvement in professional organization(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and editing designs and drawings.
• Preparing portions of project documents including drawings and specifications.
• Researching code and regulatory requirements.
• Researching design options and component specifications for Project Engineers and Job Manager.
• Involvement in construction including site inspections and shop drawing reviews.
• Performing analysis and design retrofit of facilities.
