Job summary

GHD is seeking Engineering Interns to join its Water team for the upcoming summer in Buffalo, NY. You will assist project engineers and managers in planning, design and construction of water and wastewater projects.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil or Environmental Engineering; familiarity with AutoCAD is a plus; strong curiosity and teamwork are valued. This internship offers hands-on experience within a global network of professionals.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Understanding of engineering fundamentals.
• AutoCAD skills would be a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conducting field investigations and inspections of construction.
• Performing engineering studies and making comparative engineering and economic evaluations.
• Collecting and compiling data.
• Assisting with CADD drawings and developing facilities layouts.
• Conducting cost estimates and design calculations.
