Job summary

GHD is seeking a Civil Designer for our US East Design & Delivery Organization to prepare detailed design drawings for grading, site development, and utility layouts on wastewater/water projects. The role involves designing force mains, sewers, and horizontal infrastructure with a hybrid in-office model three days per week.

Please bring 2–5 years in site-civil/water & wastewater design, plus strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills; Revit and TR-55 are a plus.

Qualifications

Associate degree in CADD or Civil Engineering Technology; HS diploma considered with experience.
2-5 years of site-civil / water & wastewater / storm water / erosion & sediment control design experience.
Strong AutoCAD and Civil 3D skills; Revit experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools and formats, often independently.
Solutions Analysis: Interpret data and identify possible answers across varied processes and precedents.
Personal Capability Building: Engage in assessment, development planning, training and coaching.
Operational Compliance: Follow policies and codes to ensure work adheres to standards and obtain supervisor authorization for exceptions.
Project and Solution Development: Conduct a range of project engineering activities and deliver design projects using established systems.
Design and Conceptualization: Research and interpret data and benchmarks for digital services design.
