Job summary

GHD is seeking a Civil Designer to join our US East Design & Delivery team. You will prepare detailed design drawings for grading and site development, utility piping, and wastewater/water facility layouts, contributing to horizontal infrastructure projects.

The ideal candidate has 2-5 years of site-civil experience, strong AutoCAD and Civil3D skills, and familiarity with Revit or HydroCAD workflows. This hybrid role offers collaboration in-office three days a week and growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in CADD or Civil Engineering Technology; HS Diploma and relevant experience will also be considered.
• 2-5 years of experience in site-civil / water & wastewater / storm water / erosion & sediment control design.
• Strong technical skills with AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Revit, Civil HydroCAD and/or TR-55 experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Data Collection and Analysis: Collate and analyze data using preset tools, methods, and formats.
• Solutions Analysis: Interpret data and identify possible answers within diverse processes and precedents.
• Personal Capability Building: Develop own capabilities through assessment, development planning, and ongoing education.
• Operational Compliance: Apply organizational policies and regulatory codes to ensure compliant work.
• Project and Solution Development: Carry out project development and engineering activities with established systems.
• Design and Conceptualization: Research data trends and benchmarks relevant to digital services design.
