Job summary

GHD Buffalo, NY is seeking a Graduate Environmental Engineer to join our Engineering Design team. You will participate in planning, design, permitting and construction of Civil and Environmental projects for municipal and private clients, learning from senior staff within our Water business.

This entry-level role requires a Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Environmental Engineering, 0-3 years experience (internship/co-op ok), and an EIT is preferred as you pursue a PE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• 0-3 years of experience; internship or co-op experience preferred.
• EIT preferred with intent to pursue Professional Engineering license.
• Intermediate AutoCAD skills a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Development of supporting project information (i.e. calculations, analyses, evaluations, cost estimates, report text, figures, drawings, etc.).
• Performing construction phase engineering tasks (i.e. submittal review, test data evaluation and compilation, etc.).
• Assisting with the development of drawings using AutoCAD.
• Helping to develop preliminary facilities layouts and designs.
• Maintaining open communication with project team members and project managers.
