LJA Land Development in Hoover, AL is seeking a Graduate Engineer to support feasibility studies, cost opinions, and development plans using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and related design tools. You will contribute to design, production, and project administration for diverse public and private clients.

The role offers collaboration with seasoned engineers, hands-on learning, and opportunities to advance within a 100% employee-owned firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET accredited university (Civil Engineering Preferred)
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software recommended
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical experts to perform design calculations and generate technical drawings.
• Expand engineering toolbox with advanced techniques and industry concepts.
• Investigate site conditions and constraints to inform design iterations and direction.
• Coordinate with manager and mentors to identify growth opportunities.
• Provide information to inform client decisions on project objectives.
