Job summary

LJA Land Development seeks a Graduate Engineer to support design, production, and project administration using AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, and MS Office for public and private client projects. You will contribute to feasibilities, cost opinions, studies, exhibits, construction plans, takeoffs, and models.

Collaboration with engineers, expanding your toolbox, and mentorship are key parts of the role. A BS in Civil Engineering (ABET) and FE eligibility are preferred.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Civil Engineering (preferred)
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Experience with Bluebeam and water resources software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS)
• Passed the FE Exam
• Strong communication skills and teamwork mentality

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teammates to perform design calculations and prepare equipment/material specifications
• Generate technical drawings and exhibits for projects
• Inform client and internal leaders for decision making with project objectives
