Job summary
LJA is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join its Land Development division in Raleigh, NC. You will use AutoCAD Civil3D, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office and other design tools to provide design, production, and project administrative support for feasibility studies, cost opinions, and construction plans for a broad client base.
You will grow through hands-on experience, collaborating with technical experts and mentors in a supportive, employee-owned environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree from ABET accredited university (Civil Engineering Preferred)
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Previous work experience in the engineering industry
- Experience with Bluebeam and Water Resources Software (HEC-RAS & HEC-HMS)
- Passed the FE Exam
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical experts, peers, and support roles to perform design calculations and generate technical drawings.
- Expand engineering toolbox with advanced techniques and industry concepts.
- Investigate site conditions and constraints to inform design iterations and direction.
- Check-ins with manager to identify areas of excellence and growth opportunities.
- Provide exhibits to inform client and internal leaders in decision making.
