Job summary

University of Texas at Austin seeks a Graduate Assistant to support the Successful Student Organizations Program within the Office of Texas Student Experience. The role focuses on administrative leadership, scheduling, and materials preparation to promote positive student organization culture on campus.

The position runs 20 hours per week at a rate of $19.33 per hour, with the potential to renew for up to four long semesters. Start date is August 16, 2026, on the UT Austin Main Campus, on-site.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled graduate student (taking at least 9 hours).
• Attention to detail and ability to work on time sensitive deadlines.
• Ability to create processes and systems from scratch

Responsibilities

• Primary administrative and project management lead for the SSOP, including logistics and materials.
• Coordinate schedules between student organizations and facilitators.
• Track progress and provide regular reminders and updates to participants.
• Support SSOP Committee materials and rubric processes.
• Maintain a system to track progress via Monday.com.
• Assist with office duties and events and meetings as needed.
