Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a Coordinator of Student Organizations to support the development and engagement of student organizations. You will coach leaders on event management, coordinate space use, and collaborate with staff to create meaningful programs that align with campus policies.

Responsibilities include space reservations, event consultation, program planning and assessment, and supervision of student staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with experience developing and implementing programs for college students.
• Experience advising student groups, in student personnel or student services.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with students, faculty, administration and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide coaching and assistance to student organizations in management, planning, leadership and risk management.
• Oversee indoor space reservations and manage the reservation system with policy compliance.
• Conduct event consultations and coordinate logistics with campus partners.
• Lead planning and assessment of area programs, including workshops and evaluation tools.
• Supervise graduate and undergraduate student staff in collaboration with other coordinators.
• Participate in special projects and cross-department committees as requested.
