Job summary

UC Santa Barbara is seeking a Graduate Admissions Analyst to support the central processing of graduate applications across ~50 programs and 10,000+ apps annually. You will verify materials, ensure policy compliance, and advise departments, students, and the public on admissions requirements.

Under supervision, you will assist with policy development, fee processing, and collaboration with multiple units to maintain efficient admission workflows and FERPA compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related area.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to advise and inform diverse audiences.
• Experience performing administrative support in an academic setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations of campus-wide graduate admissions processing.
• Review and approve final departmental recommendations for admission.
• Advise departments, students, and the public on admissions requirements and policies.
• Maintain knowledge of Slate CRM, deadlines, and degree offerings.
• Support policy implementation and training for staff involved in admissions.
