Job summary

A+E Global Media is seeking a Metadata Coordinator to oversee verification, reconciliation, and accuracy of program metadata with Gracenote. You will serve as the primary operations contact for Gracenote metadata, ensuring IDs, titles, and sequencing are consistently accurate across platforms.

You will collaborate with Technology and Metadata Operations to streamline workflows, manage an Airtable base for cross-references, and track issues from Zendesk tickets through resolution.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years in metadata publishing environment preferred; Gracenote experience a plus.
• Experience with entertainment, media, or digital content metadata preferred.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
• Proactive and accurate in a structured metadata workflow.
• Familiarity with metadata best practices and taxonomy is a plus.
• Experience with XML metadata and video encoding is a plus.
• Experience with digital delivery protocols and technologies (FTP, SFTP, Aspera).
• Experience with ticketing systems such as Zendesk.
• Experience with Airtable or similar workflow tools.

Responsibilities

• Metadata verification and reconciliation across internal systems and Gracenote.
• Maintain and manage Airtable base for cross-reference of IDs, titles, sequencing, status, and discrepancies.
• Review and validate episode sequencing between internal metadata and Gracenote records; coordinate corrections.
• Open, document, and track Zendesk tickets for metadata discrepancies; ensure timely resolutions.
• Lead Gracenote-related meetings; communicate issues and coordinate follow-ups with Gracenote representatives.
• Collaborate with Metadata Operations, Content Operations, Technology, and other teams to resolve metadata discrepancies.
• Document verification procedures, escalation paths, and recurring issues; provide status updates as needed.
