Cornerstone Staffing, Inc – Loxo is seeking a Heavy Equipment Technician to install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair GPS-grade control systems on earthmoving and grading equipment. This hands-on role combines shop work with field service across the Quad Cities region.

You will work with Topcon, Trimble, and SmartGrade platforms, testing system accuracy and supporting field service calls. A strong mechanical/electrical background and comfort with reading schematics are essential for success.

Qualifikationen

• Experience as a heavy equipment mechanic, field technician, or similar role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to read schematics or willingness to learn.
• Background with construction or industrial equipment preferred.

Aufgaben

• Install and calibrate GPS grade control systems on heavy equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues.
• Work with machine control systems such as Topcon, Trimble, and SmartGrade.
• Test and verify system accuracy before equipment goes to job sites.
• Support field service calls and customer equipment issues.
• Work alongside service and technical support teams.
