Job summary

Dirt Prep Solutions, Inc. is seeking a skilled Field Machine Control / GPS Technician to install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot machine control systems on heavy construction equipment in Southern California.

The role combines mechanical work, electrical troubleshooting, and customer service in hands-on field assignments. The ideal candidate will travel to customer sites, assist with calibrations, perform system updates, and train operators on proper operation and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with field service and installation preferred.
• Familiarity with Leica Geosystems and GPS technology is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot Leica Geosystems machine control and GPS technology.
• Route and connect wiring, cables, sensors, antennas, displays, receivers, brackets, and related system components.
• Provide onsite technical support to operators and project managers.
• Train customers on proper system operation and basic troubleshooting.
