Arnold Machinery seeks a Technology / GPS / Machine Control Specialist to install, calibrate, and service 3D machine control systems on heavy equipment across multiple sites. You will train operators, manage site models, and optimize positioning tech to boost efficiency and safety.

Travel to job sites is required; strong knowledge of GPS, grading systems, and CAD tools is essential. Join a team focused on precision, reliability, and reducing rework in construction projects.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in heavy construction, surveying, or machine control.
• Proficiency with GPS, 3D grading systems, and CAD software.
• Experience with AutoCAD, Trimble Business Center or Topcon Magnet.
• Strong problem-solving and field troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication with operators and managers.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and maintain GPS/GNSS, UTS, and laser systems on heavy equipment.
• Upload 3D site models, create surface data, verify design specs in the field.
• Troubleshoot machine control issues to minimize downtime.
• Train operators and site personnel on technology usage.
• Set up base stations and perform site calibrations for data accuracy.
• Monitor machine health and data analytics.
