Job summary

Idaho Materials & Construction, a CRH Company, seeks skilled labor to perform GPS survey and machine control duties on construction sites. Responsibilities include staking, grade checks, and assisting GPS equipment operations across aggregate, ready-mix, asphalt, and site locations.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1+ year in construction, and compliance with safety regulations. Candidates should be able to read drawings and perform general labor tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Thorough knowledge in site work and utility construction preferred.
• 1+ year’s experience in the construction field is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow company policies and OSHA/MSHA safety procedures and report issues to supervision.
• Read and interpret project drawings relevant to site activities.
• Establish and maintain site layout and staking for excavation and site work.
• Establish and check grade for utility installations.
• Support GPS motor grader and/or paver operations.
• Perform daily site inspections with proper documentation.
• Perform general labor and other duties as assigned.
• Work with TOPCON GPS/GNSS equipment on various sites.
