EMCOR Government Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA seeks a Project Coordinator to develop scopes of work, prepare project estimates, and coordinate multiple construction projects to completion under government contracts.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical and structural systems, strong organizational and communication skills, and experience with safety and environmental plans. TSA/SCI eligibility and clearance may be preferred.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Ability to plan, organize, coordinate, direct, and control all aspects of project activities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare the scope of work for construction or repair projects as directed by government representative.
• Prepare estimates for client approval.
• Prepare equipment and material submittals for client approval.
• Coordinate construction work with site staff to minimize disruption of operations.
• Prepare safety plans to ensure OSHA and site-specific standards.
• Prepare environmental plans and ensure compliance with control policies.
• Prepare and implement safety documentation during projects.
• Prepare a punch list at project completion and ensure work meets specifications.
• Schedule equipment commissioning and prepare project reports for the government.
• Read and understand architectural and mechanical drawings.
• Read and understand manufacturers’ submittals and literature.
• Specify and order materials.
