Job summary

Gecko Robotics seeks a Contracts Capture Strategist to translate complex customer needs into executable acquisition strategies across the U.S. Government market.

You will partner with Business Development, Finance, Legal, and program teams to shape the acquisition pathway, contract vehicle, offer structure, pricing, and partner strategy, advancing opportunities from early engagement to award. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in U.S. Government acquisition, capture, or complex public-sector business development.
• Experience shaping complex government opportunities from early customer engagement through award.
• Knowledge of federal acquisition lifecycle, contracting vehicles, and stakeholder roles.
• Hands-on pricing, deal structure, and business-case development for complex tech or services.
• Strong judgment, communication, and cross-functional leadership in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Development to develop capture and acquisition strategies aligning customer mission, funding, and Gecko objectives.
• Evaluate acquisition pathways and contract vehicles to create practical paths to award.
• Build relationships with contracting officers, program offices, and stakeholders; surface constraints early.
• Lead pricing and deal structures in partnership with Finance, Legal, and technical teams.
• Drive capture-to-award execution with decision points and coordinated proposal inputs.
• Shape teaming, subcontracting, and partner strategies to improve access and delivery confidence.
• Serve as an acquisition advisor translating procurement requirements into actionable choices.
