Job summary

Nominal is recruiting a Contracts Strategy Lead, U.S. Government to scale partnerships with government customers. You will work with our Government & Public Sector, Legal, Finance, Capture, and Program teams to structure opportunities and translate Nominal’s software model into government-friendly contracts and pricing.

You’ll lead complex contracting efforts from day one. This role requires deep acquisition knowledge, commercial thinking, and the ability to own and drive new government

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts, acquisitions, or contract strategy.
• Strong working knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and common U.S. Government acquisition vehicles.
• Ability to translate commercial software pricing, licensing, and delivery models into government-compatible structures.
• Experience negotiating or supporting complex government contracts involving software or technology.

Responsibilities

• Shape Government Opportunities from proposal through award.
• Translate Nominal’s commercial software model into government-compatible pricing, licensing, and acquisition approaches.
• Review solicitations, agreements, and contract vehicles, identify risks, and recommend paths forward.
• Partner with Capture, Business Development, Finance, Legal, and Program teams on complex pursuits.
• Engage with Contracting Officers and prime contractors to develop negotiation strategies.
