Job summary

Gecko Robotics seeks a Contracts Capture Strategist to transform complex customer needs into executable acquisition strategies for the U.S. Government market.

You will partner with Business Development, Finance, Legal and technical teams to shape procurement pathways, contract vehicles, pricing models, and partner strategies—driving opportunities from early engagement through award. You will navigate federal acquisition rules, build credibility with contracting officers, and lead pragmatic deal

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in U.S. Government acquisition, capture, government contracting, or complex public‑sector business development.
• Proven success shaping opportunities from engagement through award.
• Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle and contracting roles.
• Hands-on pricing, deal structure, and business-case development for complex tech or services.
• Excellent judgment, communication, and cross-functional leadership in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop opportunity-specific capture and acquisition strategies aligning customer mission needs with Gecko objectives.
• Evaluate acquisition pathways and contract vehicles to enable practical awards.
• Build relationships with contracting officers and program offices; surface constraints early.
• Lead pricing, ROMs, quotes, and proposals in partnership with Finance and Legal teams.
• Drive capture-to-award execution and coordinating proposal inputs.
• Shape teaming and partner strategies to improve access and delivery confidence.
• Advise leadership on tradeoffs and reuse lessons learned for future plays.
