Job summary

Gecko Robotics is seeking a Contracts Capture Strategist to translate complex customer needs into executable strategies for the U.S. Government market.

You will partner with multiple teams to shape how agencies buy Gecko’s robot-based technology, including acquisition pathways, contract vehicles, and pricing models. You’ll need strong DoD DoA understanding, credibility with contracting officers, and the ability to move opportunities forward through ambiguity while advising executives on

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in U.S. Government acquisition, capture, government contracting, or complex public-sector business development.
• Proven ability to shape and advance opportunities from early engagement through award.
• Strong knowledge of the federal acquisition lifecycle, processes, and roles.
• Hands-on pricing, deal structure, and business-case development for complex tech or services.
• Excellent judgment and communication to align cross-functional teams and drive decisions.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Business Development to craft capture and acquisition strategies aligned to customer mission needs and Gecko objectives.
• Evaluate acquisition pathways and contract vehicles to create practical paths to award.
• Build relationships with contracting officers and program offices; surface constraints early.
• Lead pricing, ROMs, quotes, and licensing models in collaboration with Finance, Legal, and technical teams.
• Drive capture-to-award execution, coordinating inputs and negotiations through award.
• Shape teaming, subcontracting, and partner strategies to improve access and delivery confidence.
• Serve as a pragmatic advisor translating procurement requirements into actionable choices.
