Job summary

EY’s Government Contract Services (GCS) team helps organizations navigate U.S. Government contracts, grants, and related labor standards. A Manager leads engagements, analyzes data, and develops practical recommendations to strengthen compliance and efficiency across pricing, cost accounting, and reporting.

You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, respond to audits, and help build compliant cost structures while mentoring junior staff. Travel may be required for client sites across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, law, finance, business or related field.
• 5–8 years of relevant work experience.
• Professional designation such as CPA, CFE, CFA.
• Strong knowledge of FAR, CAS, DFARS, 2 CFR 200.
• Experience with government contracts, grants, or audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support client engagements across government contracting lifecycle.
• Manage workstreams, supervise teams of 2–10.
• Analyze financial and operational data to develop recommendations.
• Assist with audits, compliance, and cost accounting structures.
• Improve processes for pricing, billing, procurement, and reporting.
